IT Field Service Technician

Immediately available

4 + month contract

£16ph (LTD/Umbrella)

Van, Fuel Card and digs provided

40 hours per week (Days and nights)

Are you an experienced IT technician looking for an immediately available contract role? Are you looking for a field based role with potential long term prospects where a van, fuel card and accommodation will be provided?

My client are a leading services provider to a range of supermarket stores and depots nationwide. They require an IT technician to upgrade the stores till/Epos systems across the UK. You will be working in groups of 3 initially across the UK with the second phase of the project requiring candidates to work individually in more local patches.

You must be software literate and understand file/folder structures and different user types. You will have to move to a network folder users for things such as folders, outlook local address books, record printers installed and paths before setting up a new PC and carrying out Windows familiarisation and fault finding to ensure everything is working.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a good level of IT knowledge especially in setting up new PC's with old files and info, looking for an immediately available field role within a market leading company.

The Role:

* Field Based (Fuel card provided, digs, subsistence)
* IT Technician (Setting up New PC's/Moving data from old PC)
* Nationwide initially moving to more local patches

* Relevant experience in IT Field Service role or similar
* Flexible to work away and work shifts
