Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Plant)

Fort William, Highlands

Monday to Friday DAY shift

Circa £30,000 + Contributory Pension + Company Sick Pay + 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Maintenance Engineer required for a local, well established manufacturer. This is a new role created due to growth and a great opportunity to work in a small team that can offer long term career stability.

The successful candidate will come from ANY industrial/ plant or service engineering background. Electrical and Mechanical ex forces engineers are also encouraged to apply. Mechanically you will have experience of hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication. Electrically any experience of diagnostics and fault finding is highly desired.

Working alongside a team of maintenance engineers, under the leadership of the Engineering Manager, you'll provide a lead on the maintenance of all Mobile Plant. You be involved with troubleshooting and testing equipment, fault diagnostics and a variety of servicing whilst repairing mechanical, hydraulics and electromechanical machinery mobile plant. Day to day you will also be involved with stock management and liaising with external contractors.

The company are the largest service provider in their industry in the UK and can offer long term career stability.

The Role:

* Reactive maintenance on all mobile plant.
* Working to PPM schedules.
* Managing stocks and spares.

The Maintenance Engineer:

* Comes from ANY mechanical engineering background.
* Mechanical experience hydraulics and pneumatics.
* Experience as a mobile plant/ vehicle fitter is highly desired.
