Your new company are an established manufacturing organisation with a strong market presence, specialising in the sector of FMCG. They provide high calibre products for multiple high profile clients in the printing industry.
Your new role
In your new role as the Electrical multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will work a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights - 7 til 7). Primarily, you will be responsible for:
- Break downs and PPM's
- Technical/complex issues - positive point of contact
- PLC fault finding (Siemens S7)
- Effectively communicate with both management and other colleagues
- Working with PIRANA CMMS software
- Shift hand over actions
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, ideally you will hold a HNC/ONC equivalent in electrical engineering, a recognised apprenticeship in manufacturing and have experience in fast moving environments. Experience working in a FMCG or food production environment would be beneficial, as well as Siemens PLC's. You adopt a can do attitude with a strong reliability focus and a passion for proactive problem solving methods. Adopting a hands-on approach to proactive fault finding comes naturally to you.
