Senior Structural Engineer
The suitable candidate will have several years experience in the design of structures, principally buildings. Work is varied and includes projects in the commercial office, residential, aviation, education and retail sectors. Additionally, you will also be designing some structures that may be required in rail infrastructure such as stations, depots and ancillary buildings. Working alongside colleagues in the infrastructure sectors, it is also required that design is undertaken in support of their work in the urban environment such as retaining walls, and minor civils structures.
You must have several years experience in a similar role. You should also be familiar with finite element design software such as Scia, Design template software such as TEDDS, 3D drawing packages such as Revit & BIM awareness. Finally, you must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
The office is a 10 minute walk from Bishop's Stortford station and is in close proximity to local shops and entities.
