Engineering Manager (Teesside)
Our client is a global leading chemical company that create, develop and supply a bespoke product to FMCG customers around the world.
This is an excellent opportunity to move into an established successful business and lead in a multi-site role.
Due to continued success in the business our client wishes to recruit a new Engineering Manager. This successful candidate will lead the Engineering function across both sites and provide direction and guidance to the site operating and maintenance teams.
The position will be a day shift role, salary range offered is £45,000 - £55,000 + a range of excellent benefits.
Direct all planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Lead all engineering activities to deliver overall site operational effectiveness and reliability of site assets.
Deliver the capital projects budget, ensuring on time and under budget delivery of projects to meet business requirements.
Accountable for ensuring all site facilities are maintained.
Ensure all areas of responsibility comply with the Quality management systems and to promote quality and food safety awareness.
Assist in the development and control of the budget for Engineering and Facilities.
Chemical or Food manufacturing experience essential.
HAZOP and DSEAR Experience essential.
Electrical Control & Instrumentation or Chemical Process experience required.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a senior management role.
