Position: Manufacturing Engineer / Cambridgeshire / £30k – £40k

Location: Cambridgeshire

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £35k – £45k

SRG are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join an industry leading Aerospace / Automotive supplier on their Cambridgeshire facility. The position would join a growing team at an innovative and developing company who provide a variety of process treatments for their clients.

The position is a hands on role working to develop and optimise the company’s manufacturing process. To meet demand and adapt to changing consumer demands the company regularly have to modify and upgrade their automated treatment process. This revolves heavily around the manual handling of a variety of components from highly regulated industries.

The right candidate would have previous manufacturing or industrialisation experience on an Aerospace, automotive or other regulated industry. Prior experience or knowledge of metallurgical processes or treatments would also be advantageous.

You will need to be:

Degree, HNC, HND or Equivalent Qualified in an Engineering or Material Science discipline

Prior experience working within a production, process, manufacturing or industrial engineer role.

Ideally you will have experience of:

Working within Aerospace, automotive or other regulated industries.

Knowledge of material science / metallurgy.

Continuous improvement / Lean experience

Experience working with material / metal treatment facility.
