A leading developer of bespoke instrumentation are now looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their expanding team.
Your primary duties will be to lead the engineering team in the delivery of customer orders. This is a key role in the management of the customer journey, and as such part of your role is the interface with customers.
Working with the commercial and engineering teams, you will oversee tendering and RFQ activities, to ensure specification, cost and risk are defined.
Utilising your project management skills, you will lead your product development teams, controlling timescales, design, validation, documentation and test support activities.
Working closely with NPI and R&D to support right first time and on time delivery of engineered products, you will plan and manage engineering resources to meet customer requirements.
The role offered is broad and diverse in the responsibilities and daily duties, and encompasses all aspects of Manufacturing Engineering Management, and Managing the Customer Experience.

Ideally you will be qualified to at least Degree level in a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Discipline, or similar, and have experience in an NPI Process Development role.
As the successful candidate you will have a proven track record in Manufacturing Engineering, and Management. Having managed large teams of 15 or more Engineers, you will be ready to take on a new challenge, with a leading global company.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
