Our award-winning team has relocated to a brand new multi-million-pound Manchester Digital HQ and we are looking for passionate and like-minded tech enthusiasts to join our journey. You will join our award-winning development team as Graduate Academy member to build and maintain new products and features for On the Beach’s customer-facing website and back-office systems. You will be joining a team of skilled and experienced developers and becoming part of one of the UK's most progressive, talented and successful application development teams. You will be exposed to all OTB products and tech stack.

As a Graduate Engineer your duties will include:

- Spending most of your time programming, discussing and reflecting on a programming task you’ve just completed, or presenting your own research about a topic to the group.
- Working your expertise around object-oriented design and patterns, habitual use of TDD/BDD, service-orientated architecture, habitual use of Git, including branching, merging, rebasing and use of pull requests for code review, whilst being taught elements of the Ruby language syntax and tooling ecosystem.

To be a successful Graduate you will have the following skills and experience:

- A desire to work on an exciting, fast-moving tech stack built with technologies including .NET, Ruby, Python, JavaScript/ES6 and native mobile application development including Kotlin and Swift.
- Some knowledge of OOP Software Engineering (Ruby, Java, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, PHP, Perl etc) and the ability to show off your Github / Stackoverflow accounts.
- Passionate about kick-starting your software development career in an agile environment.
- Passionate about everything software development related and have been interested in working on personal development projects in your spare time.
- Want to be part of a diversely talented team of people who want to make an impact, share their expertise and collaborate.

As the Engineer you will be earning a full salary from day 1 you will take part in a 5 weeks intensive training program split between classroom training and homework set by the coach. After completing your 5 weeks of intensive training, you will kick start your career as a Junior Software Engineer enabling you to learn about our stack, and the languages that sit within it. Throughout your journey, you will always have your graduate buddy and lead mentor by your side to help and assist you.
