We are currently looking for Process Technologist to join our team. Do you find yourself well in a fast paced, international work environment?

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the manufacturing, quality and engineering (site & project) teams in respect of new process implementations or changes to processes.
  • Lead new product trials and launches in Littleborough manufacturing sites. Ensuring that all procedures have been followed and relevant paperwork is complete.
  • Support CCI projects, de-risking projects in relation to factory trials/launches
  • Work to deliver right first time.
  • Support the L20:20 project teams to ensure all product validation trials are completed and all associated documentation completed
  • Understand the operations/ processing kit within the pilot plant. Support pilot plant technician with the organisation and operation of pilot plant trials.
  • Support the Centres of Excellence with expertise and practical support as and when required.
  • Support the PPI team with work-load any reasonable requests


CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Experience within the food industry in a Technologist role
  • HND Food Science/Food Technology (or equivalent) would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Experience in food production
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good understanding of Quality, Food Safety, Regulatory and Customer requirements
  • Good understanding of the process kit capability and operation at Littleborough
  • Understanding of the formulations and types of products we manufacture
  • Capacity and capability to take initiative and work independently
  • Able to manage several different projects and priorities at the same time
  • Able to work effectively cross-functionally across the business, and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
