Mechanical Design Engineer
Arlington Moore Recruitment is working on behalf of a progressive, dynamic and market leading Bridlington based manufacturing company. This company is a hugely successful manufacturing company who are innovators in their field as well as global leaders of their manufactured products.
We are now pleased to announce that we have a vacancy for a Mechanical Design Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our clients’ busy team.
Reporting to Management level, the Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings as well as issuing production instructions and creating bill of materials.
As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: -
Providing highly detailed 3D CAD models and drawings
Selecting materials and designs which provides the most cost-effective solutions for their application
Supporting Production with queries and development builds
Creating bill of materials
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have: -
Experience in the use of 3D CAD package ideally but 2D would be considered
Experience with design to manufacture of mechanical products
