X2 contract Structural Design Engineers, Aberdeen
Initial 6 month contract are on offer, with likely extensions available. Ideally candidates need to be able to start by early June.
Typical tasks will include working within the Structural Engineering department providing refurbishment deliverable's to the customer’s assets across UKCS. These projects include modifications to topside structures & works, the removal and replacement of various equipment packages and the formation of weight control reports. Our client are also heavily involved in brownfields / decommissioning work on these projects also.
A monthly survey trip is likely, so it is important you possess your BOSIET Offshore Survival and Medical before starting. The role will mainly be office based.
Qualifications and experience
* Structural design & calculations in accordance with relevant industry standards.
* FEA and modelling using Autodesk AutoCAD, or PDMS
* Experienced in Checking and issuing design documents and drawings.
* UKCS Survey experience in the last 12 months
* Highly Organised
* The following is also desirable: Industry Degree or 8 years + commercial experience
