An exciting opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager who has experience of working with Pharmaceutical facility builds including utilities: Water/Elec/Waste etc. to tight deadlines. For this role you must have GMP and Validation experience.


2 Years FTC + up to 20% Annual bonus
The detailed design, competitive tender stage (Supported by Procurement), principal contractor selection process
Ensure the Capital Projects procedures are followed, including reporting and stakeholder management
Coordination and integration of the interrelated sub-projects, such as the technology transfers and the Commissioning and Qualification programme for the new facilities   
Main responsibilities will include:

Working with the VP Quality & Technical Services and other stakeholders to develop detailed project plans from design to qualification
Support the identification of suitable contractors for the competitive tender process and work with Procurement to issue RFP/RFQ packages.
Responsible for updating the Detailed Project Scoping document (Business case), Capital Expenditure Request forms and Project Schedules
Work closely with chosen vendors and the Project team and assigned contractor to develop designs, including costs estimation with accuracy to ±10%
Provide expert Project Management and execution knowhow for the delivery of the Building facilities including laboratories / cleanrooms, to ensure project is delivered on time and to the agreed final budget, unless delays or overspend are prior-approved
With the project team establish the project delivery priorities and timelines, in-line with the latest business requirements
Prepare CapEx reports for Finance review and fortnightly dashboard reports
Support the project team in preparing Validation Plans and provide guidance for Commissioning, IQ and OQ protocols
Co-ordination with the lead contractor project manager, by being client-facing, i.e. ensuring that stakeholders are represented effectively, whilst the lead contractor PM manages the chosen sub-contractors and is responsible for the contracted project execution
Follow processes and procedures for Capex Projects and complete defined required training   

Extensive engineering experience in a GMP Pharma / Biopharmaceutical or similarly regulated Production environment
Degree or equivalent in a suitable Engineering discipline, or relevant high education
Relevant Engineering and Project Management expertise
