Electro and Mechanical Assembly Technician - Luton
Electromechanical Technician working in Bedfordshire
You will be required to work Monday - Friday
8am - 4pm
Reporting to the Production Team Leader, your main duties will be mechanically assembling various enclosures and sub-assemblies and fixing a wide range of sizable mechanical components such as transformers, as well as carrying-out basic wiring of Electrical Inverters, Fixed Electrical Ground Power Units and other Power Supplies.
You will be working extensively from mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
You will have a BTEC, C&G Part or Equivalent in a mechanical / electrical related subject, or you will have 2 years’ practical experience in a similar role.
You will ideally have GCSE English and Maths to C grade.
You will have experience of drilling and tapping Steel and Aluminium sheet metal and are able to rework components as required.
You will have experience in mechanical handling and lifting equipment.
You will have experience using portable hand tools.
You are able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines while still maintaining accuracy and quality.
You will work well within a motivated team environment.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience
