Position: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Devon

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 + Excellent Benefits

The Company: Our Client, who pride themselves on Excellence manufacture and sells a range of plastic products and components for the Medical, Automotive, and Aerospace Sectors.  They are part of a global technology company that serves healthcare institutions, life science researchers, clinical laboratories, industry and the general public.

The Role: Employed as a Manufacturing Engineer, your main duties you will be undertaking all aspects of the introduction of new products into manufacturing, to take responsibility for ensuring process capability to achieve QCD requirements and regulatory compliance of new product introductions and of changes to existing products/processes and provide manufacturing engineering expertise & knowledge in support of the manufacturing organisation goals.

The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

  • HNC qualified in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, HND or degree qualified in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive knowledge of Continuous Improvement / Lean manufacturing techniques & QCD targets
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (desirable)
  • Process Improvement Experience

You will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.
