Position:         Graduate Coating Engineer

Location:        Midlands

Salary:            up to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits

Our Client, design, develops and manufactures complex electro-optical equipment for diverse high performance optronics systems working closely with major defence and aerospace systems manufacturers worldwide specialising in high-durability coatings for external surfaces exposed to harsh environments.

Due to internal promotion they now require a dynamic and creative Graduate Coating Engineer to assist the Coating Department by using optical technological knowledge to help with production requirements to meet on-time-delivery requirements & Yield expectations. To stay competitive within the current market and to assist in new product development. Make recommendations for continuous process improvements and instigate relevant development activity.

We anticipate that you will have:

  • HNC / Degree in Physics, Materials Engineering (or similar)
  • Ability to measure and assess work on spectrophotometers.

You will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will enjoy a good basic salary of up to £35,000 (DOE) plus excellent prospects and an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
