Associate/Associate Director Structural Engineer
The office is a 5 minute walk from the station and they are part of a larger company group who offer services in other areas of engineering, so they can offer a multi-disciplinary solution in house.
You should be highly experienced and have excellent communication skills. You will be Chartered (MICE or MIStructE) and have experience working on UK based projects. As an Associate you should be an open and charismatic leader who is able to both manage teams and work actively and productively on structural design solutions. Your wealth of experience will allow you to introduce innovative solutions to design problems and your background will demonstrate your ability to meet with clients and architects.
You will represent the company and will be responsible for ensuring the successful running of projects. The office is a friendly and open office environment, giving a small firm/autonomous feel. You will have the chance to work on large, challenging commercial and residential projects (up to £200m) as well as smaller more architecturally led works.
Company directors play an active role in projects and implement the latest technology for structural design.
The consultancy is undergoing expansion and at this stage it is the perfect opportunity for someone who is of senior level and is seeking a clear route for progression.
You should have experience of medium to large buildings projects in all the main materials. You must be ambitious and dynamic, able to lead teams, run projects and liaise with clients and architects.
It is essential that you must have good communication skills, be proactive and get on well within a design team. You should be keen to progress your career within a forward thinking practice.
The office is close to the mainline station with fast links from London Waterloo. Excellent promotional prospects exist within this business which is really going places.
