Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer

RDR are recruiting for an Electrician to be based in Liverpool. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.The normal working hours for the Electrician will be Monday to Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include: Electrician
To maintain all plant & equipment as required at the Site in line with existing legislation, statutory requirements, current regulations and best practice thereby fulfilling site health, safety, environmental, quality and customer service targets. To work carry out work on site in a safe and professional manner and abide by the relevant Company procedures and site-specific procedures
To follow the company procedures and standards as expressed in the Company Handbooks. To complete all administrative functions correctly and efficiently, either paper log books or by using appropriate IT software, e.g. Maintenance Management System
The Electrician will become fully familiar with all Company and site procedures, which affect him/her and carry out all responsibilities detailed in the ICMS.
To represent the Company well to customers and external agencies, by reasonable dress and demeanour and ensure the site and all Company property are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
To carry out operations, planned and unplanned maintenance and diagnostics on all electrically related equipment and systems.
To assist in the operation and maintenance of all the LV distribution systems and equipment as instructed by the SAP
The responsibilities outlined are not intended to be exhaustive and other duties maybe required from time to time.
To keep the customer informed of any potential threat to production
To manage, inspect and report on all aspects of the Estates Department fixed wire testing and inspection regime
To develop suitable testing programs to fall in line with production requirements
Qualifications or Required Experience:
Previous relevant experience. BS7671/IEE 18th Edition. Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
HASAWA 1974 . HNC. Time served
Fixed wire and testing & inspection skills
