Salary: £30,000- £45,000
Our client is a small company which designs, manufacturers & installs bespoke architectural glazing elements for high-end residential and commercial projects.
To facilitate future growth, they wish to recruit an experienced engineer to guide projects through from initial design and specification, to manufacture and site installation.
The role will involve working with a high degree of autonomy and will appeal to a motivated individual who enjoys problem solving, on their own initiative, across a broad range of disciplines.
The successful candidate will :
Have a 3rd level qualification in a construction / mechanical / architectural discipline
Have a min of 5 years experience of architectural aluminium facades / doors /windows
Be fluent in the reading and creation of architectural & technical drawings with good AutoCAD skills
Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate professionally and effectively with architects, builders, clients and colleagues.
Be able to carry out site surveys.
Have their own car and a full driving license.
Desirable (but not essential) qualities :
Familiarity with the 'Schuco' range of glazing products
Knowledge of fire-rated glazing products
An understanding of CAD-CAM and CNC manufacturing techniques
Architectural Aluminium: 5 years (Required)
