About the Role

We have positions available for Graduates, Project Engineers and Senior Engineers depending on level of experience and qualifications. The roles available are based in our Belfast office and will cover wide ranging projects in the public and private sector. These roles will involve the Design and Project Management of civil engineering schemes, housing and building developments. As well as managing work load and staff, you will liaise with other members of the consultancy Design and PM team to deliver an effective service to our clients. There will be potential travel between RPS offices in NI and the UK for work package coordination. The roles will also involve support in business development and the preparation of marketing submissions. You will be preparing detailed reports and undertake site supervision.

About You

Suitable candidates will ideally have an MEng or BEng degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or similar with a view to getting Chartered with ICE, IEI, CILT or equivalent. Civil Engineering experience will be a benefit, ideally designing highways, retail, commercial or residential projects using Civils 3D, MX Design or similar. Experience in using MS Project (or equivalent) would be a benefit to assist in projects from end to end. A confident, capable approach is required with a positive attitude to working as part of a team. Suitable candidates will have excellent report writing and communication skills and enjoy working independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
