Assistant Acceptance Engineer
Location: North West
Interviews/Start date: Starting February 2019
Contract Length: 9-month initial contract

This is an opportunity to work for a successful company which is operating new and improved trains across their fleet. This company is investing heavily in improving their existing fleet and delivering increased services and technology for their passengers. As a leader of the railway industry, this client is dedicated to providing safe and reliable journeys for their customers.
You will be working as part of the Acceptance Project performing quality and compliance checks on new trains before they go into service. You will focus on the document control and compliance oversight of the project. You will be required to coordinate with engineers, OEM’s and Senior Management to ensure that documentation is compliant to the client’s needs. You will also liaise extensively with the Acceptance Engineers to oversee technical final checks before signing off legally binding documents.
The Ideal Candidate
If you are an experienced Assistant Acceptance Engineer, please get in touch. Alternatively, project coordinators or document controller with a view to move on to Acceptance Engineering, please apply. To be considered for this role, you will have a strong background in engineering or rolling stock. You will also be highly diligent and have experience as a document controller. You will need to show high level understanding of engineering drawing and technical specifications. You will be highly organized and have a keen eye for detail.
A proven background in engineering or rolling stock with a background with a qualification Level 4 or above. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an office environment and handling highly confidential information and documents of a technical nature.
