My client is a global engineering business providing Specialist Vehicles to nation’s worldwide. They have a growing order book and world class manufacturing facilities helping them to generate new business and provide a market leading product. They are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to design, develop, verify and maintain system designs to meet customer expectations and business requirements.

Lead Engineer - Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent experience in relevant discipline is required.
  • Design, develop, verify and maintain Automotive electrical/electronic system designs.
  • Experience of leading a team and successfully delivering vehicle-based projects.
  • Strong interest in vehicle-based technologies and developments and preferably an Automotive background.
  • Detailed understanding of vehicle electrical systems and controls.
  • Experience of Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) systems.
  • Experience of electrical/electronic system integration and interaction.
  • Experience in system definition, development and requirements capture to meet/exceed customer specifications.
  • Good people management and leadership skills.
  • Able to liaise with different levels of Management and staff.
  • Ability to work in and maintain a structured working environment to achieve goals/targets.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and mind frame.

  • Able to work without supervision under own initiative.
