We are looking for the "best of the best" experienced and qualified Security Systems Lead / Commissioning Engineer to join our passionate team. The role is to oversee & commission multi-discipline security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Intercom Systems, Visitor Management Systems etc) to NSI Gold & BS EN standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation & day to day running of medium to large scale projects straight through to commission & handover. Knowledge of one or more of the following systems would be advantageous: Honeywell WinPak & Prowatch, CCure800 & CCure 9000, Entrapass, XPlan, Sateon, Gallagher, Avigilon, DVTel, Axis, FLIR, Aimetis.

Key Job Responsibilities

1st & 2nd fix installation & commissioning of IP CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, Intercom & Visitor Management Systems.
Ability to demonstrate systems to customers.
Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
Familiarity with industry standards.
Completion of commissioning records ensuring that all progress and equipment settings are recorded for the O&M manuals.
LAN, WAN, IP and basic fundamentals of networking.
Able to work with system specifications, drawings & schematics.
Confident to work both individually and as part of a team, responsibilities will include the installation, commissioning and handover of security installations within commercial, industrial & retail premises (no residential).

Requirements for the job
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
Good communication skills.
Network & IP based product experience.
Knowledge of system integration into other disciplines
Full driving license
Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS and BS-7858 checks.
