What are we looking for?

As with all Tarmac employees, we are looking for people who are enthusiastic, passionate about success and hold health and safety as their number one priority.

We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter who has the ability to work with and actively support the rest of the team but is also comfortable challenging the status quo for the benefit of Health and Safety and the business as a whole.

What will I be responsible for?

The main focus of the Maintenance Fitter role will be the safe and efficient maintenance of all plants and machinery at our Cairneyhill site. Quarry experience is not essential, although would be advantageous as would experience maintaining and problem solving on heavy construction based equipment and machinery. A flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills is key for success in this role.
