An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the most established and reputable food manufacturing companies in the UK for an Engineering Manager who will be responsible for the day to day Maintenance and Engineering operations within the main site production area.
As the Engineering Manager….
You’ll use your Engineering Manager skills to perform and maintain an equipment criticality assessment for area of responsibility
You’ll manage the development of appropriate preventive and predictive strategies for all assets in area of responsibility using RCM, FMECA and best engineering judgement
You’ll perform analysis of the spares support required for assets in area of responsibility and determine the optimum strategy for spares support e.g. on site hold, consignment or supplier held stock
You’ll put in place appropriate maintenance, service and support contracts as appropriate with the Site Engineering Policy and within the guidelines from the legal department
You’ll assist operations in the development of appropriate operating standards and practices to improve the productivity of assets in area of responsibility
You’ll be educated to degree/equivalent level in an engineering discipline and have significant experience in an Engineering Manager role within a blue chip food manufacturing / FMCG company.
You’ll have experience in dealing with complex employee relations and an excellent track record in delivering change and transition management.
You’ll have a proven ability in utilising Continuous Improvement Techniques and budgetary control skills.
