Graduate Electrical Design Engineer
Salary up to £22,000 per annum
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading engineering consultancy looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in St Albans.
Your new role will see you take on a number of new duties and responsibilities. You will be required to deal with projects, predominantly in the UK, from concept stage through design and construction, and then to commissioning and handover – all this will be under the guidance of a senior engineer.
Our client believes indivudla development is paramount, so they'll be looking to train, develop and support you to achieve chartered status.
Some of the technical work associated with the role is:
* Lighting calculations
* Part L Compliance checks
* Liaison with architects, clients, structural engineers and contractors
To be considered for this role, you will ideally:
* Hold a relevant degree, such as: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with relation to Building Services
* Have experience with or knowledge of AutoCAD, Dialux and Relux
* Have experience with Amtech software
* Have effective written and verbal communication skills
