A specialist manufacturer based in Oxfordshire are recruiting for a Graduate Applications Engineer to join their engineering team. The keen and enthusiastic Graduate Applications Engineer will be joining an experienced engineering team to learn, design, develop, document, integrate, commission and support the bespoke systems on offer to a wide range of blue-chip customers & clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Applications Engineer to develop and further their skills in automations, electrical and mechanical engineering.
The successful Graduate Applications Engineer will be responsible for:
Learning the specialist graphical user interface (GUI) software
Using machine vision software & hardware to design specialist applications
Documenting specifications and test studies for design purposes
Managing projects, liaising with internal and external departments
The successful Graduate Applications Engineer will ideally:
Have a degree in a related engineering field (2:1 minimum)
Have a full, clean UK driving licence
Have a knowledge of robotics, industrial automation or control systems (not essential)
Be a good communicator, both written and verbally
Be well organised and able to work to deadlines
