Quality Engineer - Automotive
We are currently looking for a driven Quality Engineer for a prestigious Tier 1 Automotive business based in the west Birmingham area, paying between £35,000 - £45,000 based on experience. The business have a market leading product and supply globally in to a number of OEMs.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, as Quality Engineer you will be maintaining all internal Quality systems and ensuring that all Quality standards are met.
You will also look to develop the organisation, operational and quality department in terms of Quality in conjunction with applicable Customer Specific Requirements, IATF16949, associated Core tools and Best Practice.
A minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer within the automotive industry
Candidates without experience with IATF16949 will not be considered
Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, Control Plans)
Customer Facing experience
Possess excellent problem solving, decision-making, and root-cause analysis skills in addition to interpersonal
HNC in Engineering or Technical subject
Live within a commutable distance
Familiar with the new IATF Standards
Degree in Quality or Engineering related subject
Ideally candidates should be:
• Educated to degree level
