We are currently looking for experienced Design Engineers to join our Company working from the Swadlincote office. Travelling to site locations within the UK may be required.

We are a growing organisation, comprised of brilliant people providing a range of engineering services and are always looking for new faces to join our high-calibre teams on exciting projects.
As our new Design Engineer our will work on a number of high-value design projects from concept to completion. Starting with the technical development of project activities followed by technical leadership of the project, if required.
Working closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers and Systems Engineers, you will:
- Develop detailed P&ID diagrams
- Have liaison with clients and suppliers/sub-contractors
- Participate in the tendering process
- Write reports and surveying
- On site surveying
- Ensure Company/Client standards are followed on every contract
- Compliance with the Company’s General Conditions of Employment.
- Ensure a professional and tidy approach is maintained within the Design Office and CAD System.
A flexible approach to work is required due to the site demands (some weekend work may be required).
Skills / Experience Required:
You should have a strong engineering design background within the food, beverage or diary industry. Together with good experience in developing and designing both P&ID’s and 3D pipework drawings. You must be competent with Autodesk suite (AutoCAD / AutoCAD Plant 3D or Inventor).
Ideally you should possess either a Mechanical or Electrical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or BTEC). If electrically qualified, you must have 17th Edition or 18th Edition if already achieved. Experience in food, beverage or dairy industry is essential.
