The projects you will be working on will be broad-ranging and varied in size, giving you exposure to the principles of manufacturing engineering & technology and, how a project environment operates.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Improving and maintaining the day-to-day operation of the Clay Cross Manufacturing plant within the Weld and Press areas.
- Assist in Weld and Press projects in the manufacturing site
- Participating in and leading Continuous Improvement Projects
- Supporting the launch of new products into the plant and changes to existing products
- Ensuring that we meet internal and external legislation for the manufacturing process
- Upkeep and creation of SOPs
- A good balance of office work and being hands on in a shop floor environment
- Problem solving on live issues on manufacturing processes to keep production going
