A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the leading building and civil engineering contractors in Hong Kong.
With a large pipeline of infrastructure, rail and building construction projects in Hong Kong, the construction jobs climate is optimistic.

Hong Kong Senior Quantity Surveyor: Duties and Experience Required
This Senior Quantity Surveying role will be to support one of a small team of Commercial Managers based in Head Office to manage the cost function across all live building and civil engineering construction sites in Hong Kong.
Job duties will include contract administration support, final account work, subcontractor account management & other typical post contract building/civil engineering contractor duties.
It is essential that applicants for this job role have had extensive hands on experience of working for a major construction main contractor in a live post contract situation & have a complete & demonstrable understanding of major company & major project procedures & systems.
This experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor job would suit either a Hong Kong national with citizenship/ HKID Card or a UK educated Senior Quantity Surveyor currently based in the UK or overseas. The key factor is being able to demonstrate a good technical understanding, experience of how a major contractor works but also have realistic salary expectations.

Salary, Package & Start Date
Salary will be comparable to a UK Senior Quantity Surveying level role
Applicants would need to apply on the basis of an interest in the quality of the opportunity and job security and to gain international major project experience, rather than purely for an improvement in current salary levels
Accommodation allowance will be provided but there is not provision for schooling available.
Start date could be as soon as Hong Kong visa paperwork is completed.
