The client specialises in one-off bespoke properties with a value of between £1m and over £5m, and can boast a portfolio of some of the most prestigious properties to be built in the Cotswolds this century. Our client would like to recruit an Architect who has worked on one-off bespoke properties, who is not only able to offer some creativity to the design, but also deliver the project for the client within the agreed deadlines and budgets.As an ARB qualified Architect you will need to have 3-5 yrs PQE, with experience of taking one-off properties from stage B through to completion, or someone who can demonstrate a track record within this sector, no matter what age. Your role will be to work closely with the Partner who runs the Residential team on £10m plus projects and manage your own projects to the value of £5m. You will prepare and present design proposals to the client, lead and co-ordinate project teams on site in building contracts, administer building contracts effectively, and manage a team of Technical staff. A full job description can be supplied upon request.To be considered for this exciting role, you will have to be an ARB registered Architect, with Residential experience in the UK, familiar with both traditional and contemporary detailing, and have an excellent understanding of bespoke builds within certain parts of the country, such as design requirements for the Cotswolds, as apposed to the suburbs of London.Your skills should encompass, excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, fully proficient in CAD ( Vectorworks would be advantageous, but will cross train from AutoCAD or Microstation), able to deal with external contractors both firmly and with confidence, and an ability to see jobs completed.This is an excellent opportunity to work on some exceptional properties, where you are able to deliver a lifestyle for your client and their family’s future happiness.
