Our client, a leading company in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Senior Engineer with a focus on Road Safety to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of key statutory functions aimed at reducing road traffic collisions and proactively managing the highway network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in road safety and will possess expertise in the field of traffic management.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake road safety education initiatives and campaigns
  • Experience working with TROs
  • Implement measures to reduce road traffic collisions
  • Conduct regular inspections of the highway network to identify potential hazards
  • Develop and implement road safety policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and staff
  • Prepare reports and presentations on road safety initiatives and outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in road safety


Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in the field of road safety
  • Strong understanding of traffic management principles and methodologies
  • Proven ability to develop and implement road safety initiatives
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
  • Qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Relevant certifications in road safety and traffic management
