Job description

Our Client is a M&E Contractor committed to delivering exceptional electrical projects throughout the UK. They are looking to engage a skilled Electrical Project Manager provisionally for 6 months but likely ongoing. You will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing Commercial and Industrial electrical projects running between Leeds and Birmingham each 10 to 16 weeks in duration from inception to completion.

Duties

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure the successful execution of projects while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Your expertise will contribute to their mission of delivering outstanding electrical solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and effectively communicate project progress to management.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Monitor and enforce safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electrical project management, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
