Interim Engineering Manager

£550-600 per day plus expenses outside IR35

Ideal for those who thrive in an SME environment. A smaller site supplying the major retailers, it's not without its quirks and challenges. Every site has its own intricacies and nuances, and a skilled interim can navigate those and knows how to work with teams to drive the necessary changes to improve performance and in this case, upskill the teams leaving behind a legacy of a more structured function.

There is some good experience in the Team, it needs someone to show them structure and process and work with systems to really see what the kit can do. You need the ability to tap into the engineering team encouraging, motivating, ensuring full accountability on every shift. Is the PPM schedule where it needs to be? How do we approach the 'golden hour' every day? Another rkey factor will be integrating the Engineering function with Operations, Technical and Logistics so all the departments are in close communication, working together. All essential to drive a One Team approach.

For those with industry experience, this will be sounding very familiar. As with every interim assignment, where are the barriers, what needs to change immediately and what are the longer-term goals? This is the perfect assignment for an experienced engineering interim who will no doubt have worked on similar engineering projects in the past.
