Do you want to work in a brand-new state of the art production facility?  We are looking for 2 Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers  to join an established business that has seen significant growth over the last 5 years.  The new manufacturing site in Kettering has recently began production and a new line is currently being installed making this the 16th fastest growing company in the UK and with further plans to expand over the next 18 months this is an incredible opportunity!
 
We are looking for a multi- skilled Maintenance Engineer who is able to respond to breakdowns quickly reducing downtime and manage the planned maintenance schedule on everything from packaging machinery, conveyors, scales and palletizers.
 
With a mix of automation and manual machinery there’s a great range of equipment to keep you busy!  You will great people skills and have a collaborative approach to share your knowledge with other team members.
 
The role as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Predominately providing reactive and proactive maintenance service to plant machinery.
• Working with manufacturing staff to improve the process.
• Providing effective handovers
• Be able to make decisions and escalate when required.
• Working on new projects
• Maintaining fillers, conveyors, mixers and packaging machinery.

Skills and Qualifications required for this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers role:

• Minimum of a level 3 engineering qualification
• Experience within food manufacturing preferably.
• Previous experience fault finding on PLC's
• Have a collaborative approach to working with other departments to limit downtime.
• Have both mechanical and electrical experience.
• Be innovative

Benefits of this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers role:

• Basic salary of between £51,000 and £53,000 depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday (Shift pattern will change as production increases from 24/5 - 24/7)
• Morning, afternoon and nights pattern. 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 11pm-6am
• Private Medical HealthCare
• 25 days holiday
• 10% Annual Bonus
