I'm recruiting for an R&D business in Cheltenham who are looking to expand their Electronics & Firmware team. They have a requirement for a junior or mid-level Embedded Software Engineer. The work involves development of C code on STM32/PIC micros and development of associated hardware.
The company offer remote working (2 days per week remote) plus flexible working hours to avoid traffic / allow school runs etc.
They are open to junior candidates (2-5 years experience) along with mid-level engineers (5+ years).
ROLE: Embedded Software Engineer
LOCATION: Cheltenham
SALARY: Up to £55,000 (+ bonus)
Essential skills for the Embedded Software Engineer are:
- Firmware development in C
- STM/ARM/PIC microcontrollers
- Understanding of electronics/hardware
Beneficial skills are:
- IoT / BLE / narrow-band RF experience
- PCB design
