Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineering Manager to oversee and manage all engineering operations at our facility in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all engineering processes, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilitiew

  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of engineering professionals to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day engineering activities, including maintenance, repairs, and installations, to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Develop and implement robust maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment and machinery.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance against targets and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Project Management:
  • Lead engineering projects from conception to completion, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery within budgetary constraints.
