Join a prominent waste and resource management firm in the United Kingdom as a weighbridge operator on a Landfill Site. As the weighbridge operator you will be responsible for accurately weighing waste vehicles and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities of a Weighbridge Operator include:
- Operate the weighbridge system, accurately recording vehicle weights and details.
- Monitor Waste Transfer Notes and ensure correct usage of EWC codes.
- Support the Site Manager in completing reports and ensuring compliance with procedures.
- Conduct site inductions for users, emphasizing safety protocols.
- Maintain a helpful demeanor when addressing queries and contribute to overall site efficiency through housekeeping and purchasing support.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar position is required.
- Hours are 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
