Avanti Recruitment have partnered with a leading design and manufacturing company in the Leeds area to recruit an Electronic Test Technician to join their team working on high performance and high reliability switchgear systems for the oil and gas industry.

The company are well known for their internal development and training programs and are looking for an experienced electronic Test Technician who is ready to take the next step in their career.

What You'll Do:

Execute testing activities with precision, take responsibility for quality, ensuring all documentation is flawless and deadlines are met. Uphold our company's commitment to excellence by ensuring every piece of equipment leaves the workshop in impeccable condition. Deal with customers in an expert manner, conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) that meet both customer and internal requirements.

What You Bring:

Technical knowledge, especially in testing and inspecting low and medium voltage switchgear & motor control centres, a customer-centric mindset, an ability to ensure deadlines are me and a talent for problem-solving

Your Background:

Proven experience testing LV & MV switchboards, ideally in the Oil & Gas/Petrochem sector.

Minimum ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.

Bonus points for experience with Electronic Protection Relays and communication systems.
