FINTEC recruit is seeking a Press Brake Setter/Operator for a precision engineering manufacturing business based in Buckingham. This is a permanent role. Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience, regular overtime available plus benefits – 33 days holidays, healthcare cover, pension, insurances and Flexible working practices.

Salary: £17.50-£19.50 per hour

The role involves working on prestigious Audio, Broadcast and Defence products with a range of materials and thickness including Mild steel , Zintec , Stainless Steel and Aluminium.

Responsibilities:

· Setting and operating a CNC press brake

· Working on prestigious Audio, Broadcast and Defence products with a range of materials and thickness including Mild steel , Zintec , Stainless Steel and Aluminium.

· Programming of machines and adjusting to achieve consistent quality standards

· Working to fine limit tolerances and customer specifications.

· Tooling selection and job planning

· Maintaining equipment and tooling.

Skills and experience required for the Press Brake Setter/Operator:

· Ability to interpret engineering drawings

· Understanding of standard inspection instruments

· Be capable of completing bending tasks to a high standard, efficiently and consistently to customer quality expectations and timeframes.

· Tooling selection and job planning

· Maintaining equipment and tooling.

 5 years plus experience in Press Brake operation is required for this role
