A globally renown and market-leading engineering organisation are looking to hire a Marine Test Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. The primary function of the role is to ensure optimum functionality and capabilities of a cutting-edge range of marine products and technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working for a globally renown engineering organisation developing cutting edge products and technologies.
  • Field testing new and developing products, ensuring that features are fit for purpose, easy to use, and robust.
  • Involved in all areas of the product development lifecycle. I.e., test case creation, execution, and results analysis.
  • Conducting comparison/benchmark tests as a part of research & development for new and potential products

To be considered for this position, candidates need to have proven experience in a technical engineering discipline. This would need to be either electronics, software, mechanical or electrical. It would be advantageous to have knowledge / experience in product testing, as it would be to have knowledge of the maritime / marine domain. This could have been gained from either a work environment, or as a hobby such as sailing or RYA Instructor etc.

Alongside a competitive salary, the position includes a substantial benefits package of 33 days holiday, pension scheme up to 9%, private medical cover, life insurance, and an electric car scheme.
