Environmental Planner

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental Planner working in the water industry. There is flexibility for hybrid working and some travel will be required. This is a permanent position. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental assessments and impact studies for water projects.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Manage and monitor environmental aspects of projects, including environmental permits and approvals.
  • Provide expertise on environmental issues to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and environmental agencies as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in environmental, town planning, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge and experience in environmental management.
  • Relevant CSCS Card.
  • Strong project management skills from an environmental perspective.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in environmental assessment tools and software.
