Job Title: Contract Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire
Duration: 6-9 months + rolling
Are you a Quality Assurance professional looking to undertake a long term contract role working in a key, next generation project?
Working as an integral part of the R&D team as Quality Assurance Engineer you will work to ensure the availability of certified materials, parts and processes to reduce project / product risk and ensure that the parts, processes and components will be fit for purpose.
Key accountabilities as Quality Assurance Engineer include:
- Utilising your Quality Assurance/ Product Assurance expertise for a key next-generation project to investigate and put in place robust solutions to non-conformances
- Scheduling quality assurance tasks across your project
- Support the quality assurance/ product assurance inputs to risk management of the project such as obsolescence planning, interface management, product quality management, material and manufacturing process suitability for specific applications
- Produce specialist Product Assurance analysis and documentation - this may include Parts Materials and Processes (PM&P) , Electrical & Electronic Equipment (EEE), reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (RAMS), and similar
- Lifecycle engineering; Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
Ideally you will be a qualified Quality Assurance Engineer
Have proven experience in a highly regulated sector such as aerospace, nuclear, space or similar
