Project Engineer

Salary - Circa £40,000 DOE
Location - Hybrid, Retford

We're supporting an established design, manufacturer, and supplier of process equipment with over FOUR DECADES of experience within this industry. They've made huge waves in recent years supporting clients across the UK, but also globally!

With continuous growth, they've now seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join their team of professionals. The role of Project Engineer will involve a significant level of travel with some overnight stays to visit their customers around the UK, Ireland but also occasional travel around the world. If there is a requirement to work on a weekend, time will be given in lieu.

Responsibilities, but are not limited to

• Manage all relevant disciplines throughout the contract duration, ensuring that project budgets, programme durations and technical details are to agreed specifications
• Quote for new work, working to customer/user requirement specifications
• Design and build process & packaging equipment systems to appropriate legal and customer standards
• Schedule or procure labour & material requirements so they are allocated in good time
• Supervise and liaise with internal teams & external customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Ensure projects are handled professionally and that all contractors, suppliers, and internal personnel work with due regard to all CDM & HASAWA procedures
• Manage the budget for projects and ensure that as a minimum, projects achieve targeted profitability
• Log and record variations of work on projects to ensure they are customer signed off/approved and the customer is invoiced

Experiences required

• Full UK driving license is essential
• Educated within Engineering at either apprenticeship, HNC, HND, BEng etc
• Competent designing in SolidWorks 3D CAD but similar software will be considered i.e. Solid Edge, Inventor, Fusion 360 etc
• Extensive demonstrated experience as a Project Manager
• Similar industry experience within process equipment is essential
• Knowledge of CDM & HASAWA procedures is beneficia
