UK Power Networks is looking for an Electrical Fitter to join its Capital Programme - Investment Delivery team based in London - West Ham.

You will report to the Project Supervisor and will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing plant, apparatus, and cables associated with the Grid, Primary and Distribution network.

You will also oversee the work of UK Power Networks contractors and ensure compliance with the DSR and safety standards.

This position offers a salary of £41,536 plus Inner London Allowance £5,399, One Network Payment £635, Non-Canteen Allowance £293, a Van and a bonus of 3%. To apply for this role, the candidates must have the following qualifications: City and Guilds 2339 - Level 2 Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering (Preferred) or City and Guilds 2365 - Level 2 Certificate in Electrotechnical Craft or equivalent Completed an approved Apprenticeship in Electrical Fitting, Cable Jointing or Electrical Installation. ECS Installation Electrical Card/EUSR, SHEA Power or equivalent and work in a team environment. We ask that you know how to problem solve in a practical way and can work under pressure.

You must have a clean driving licence. An understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental Legislation The following qualifications are preferred but not essential: City and Guilds 2382 - Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) MEWP operator licence SMSTS competence IOSH Working safely Oxy-propane and gas awareness experience Confined space trained Receive PTW and Manage Site Safety Move/Use Cranes/Scaffold in HV Compounds Move/Use Ladders/Long Objects in HV Compounds.
