Monday – Thursday 6am – 2pm Friday 6am – 12pm

The Role:

To support the EHS Manager in the maintenance and upkeep of all buildings and manufacturing operations equipment, implementing planned and preventative maintenance operations, ensuring all equipment is maintained to achieve efficient operations whilst managing the maintenance budget.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the Facilities team to make sure they can deliver to agreed standards
  • Support the EHS Manager by eliminating un-planned downtime and increase efficiency
  • Make sure quality standards and SOP’s are strictly adhered to
  • Deliver exceptional communications within the Facilities & Maintenance teams (toolbox talks)
  • Be the point of contact and project manager for all on site building work maintain high standards and ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner.
  • Put in place a planned maintenance system and engage with key contractors for key pieces of equipment and utilities Gas/ Water/ Electricity / Air etc

What will you bring to the party?

  • HNC or BTEC in an engineering discipline.
  • Coming from a production or manufacturing background with experience of leading small teams, the post holder should ideally be a self-starter with excellent team management skills and the ability to plan well and build strong relationships
  • Must have a project management or engineering background ideally within a maintenance or facilities role.
