Description

• Ensuring efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment
• Completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines
• Locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
• Removing defective parts by dismantling devices
• Controlling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques
• Conserving maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Preparing mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends
• Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
