Mechanical Engineer

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm plus overtime. Some Saturday mornings will be required

Location: Huddersfield

Pay: £17.84 an hour, plus holiday pay and enhanced overtime rates

Please note that previous experience in a similar role is required

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established production and distribution company as a Mechanical Engineer based close to Huddersfield town centre.

Your role will include, but isn't limited to:

• Repairing conveyor systems, lines, pumps, and hydraulics
• General maintenance of production/packaging machinery
• Responsible for PPM and reactive maintenance of the machine
• Adhere to health & safety procedures

This position is on a temporary to permanent basis, successful completion of 12 weeks the client will review to offer a permanent contract.
