Info about what the role entails

• Leading by example, applying your expertise in electronics engineering through practical application.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for all electronics-related matters.
• Take charge of developing and refining work plans for your team.
• Supervise the execution of planned tasks by your team, addressing any issues that may arise.
• Provide regular updates to the business on Electronics Team plans and progress, while also identifying opportunities for collaboration with other departments.
• Take ownership of line management responsibilities for the Electronics Team, including mentoring, coaching, and recruitment.
• Cultivate strong relationships with third-party suppliers, extending the capacity of your team.
• Act as the Design Authority for electronics.
• Ensure thorough documentation and adherence to working practices, procedures, and processes within your domain.
• Manage the budget, acquisition, and maintenance of tools and systems relevant to your team's functions.
• Keep abreast of external trends and opportunities, including those from sister companies, customers, and industry events, to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements for the Electronics Team Leader

• Extensive experience in the development of electronic products.
• Proficiency with Altium 365 and comparable tools.
• Demonstrated history of delivering designs, particularly in regulated environments.
• Capable of effectively managing, leading, and coaching team members to enhance engineering practices.
• Exposure to managing relationships with electronics suppliers and purchasing.
