As we expand our team, we are seeking a diligent and skilled NDT Technician to join us in delivering exceptional service to our stakeholders.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

Role Purpose:

The NDT Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality and validation through the application of inspection and testing skills on shop processes, both on-site and at customer locations.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 16:30 with overtime available on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual Ultrasonic inspection to recognized international standards on tubes, forgings, or rolled bars.
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate automated Ultrasonic Equipment for inspecting forged cylinders.
  • Provide technical advice on matters associated with non-destructive testing.
  • Produce reports for calibration, inspection, and testing carried out on the product.
  • Perform physical and visual inspection of raw materials, components, and cylinders at key stages of production to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
  • Execute other NDT operations on manufactured products including Visual, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI).
  • Control visiting third-party inspectors and customers while operating in the inspection areas.
  • Perform and document first article inspections to support the component qualification process.
  • Carry out identification marking of products to ensure product traceability throughout its operational lifespan.

Role Requirements:

  • Strict adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Must comply with Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
  • PCN Level 2 Ultrasonic certification (Castings / Forgings) is required.
  • MPI PCN Level 2 certification is preferable.
  • DPI PCN Level 2 certification is preferable.
  • VT PCN Level 2 certification is preferable.
